Strength in Numbers! Get active and make a difference in a child's life. Five volunteers mentor 10 children one weeknight per week from September to June in local schools throughout the Peel Region. Groups participate in fun and skill-based activities. Outing costs are covered by the agency. Activities include cooking, floor hockey and sports, community tours, swimming and more.
Most groups are gender based and arranged according to age groups.
Group outings are held in Mississauga and Brampton and a schedule of the activities will be provided well in advance. We are looking for volunteers who can make a one year commitment. Access to a vehicle is recommended as you will be picking up children and returning them to their homes. | Volunteering is Easy...
