2010 Highlights

The 2010 Big Brothers Big Sisters of peel Taste of England Gala was held on October 22nd and was a huge success! Thanks to our sponsors, guests, volunteers and our dedicated committee who participated and assisted in putting this together.  We could not have done it without all of you. 

From Buckingham Palace to Trafalgar Square all above ground and London UNDERGROUND, guests had their minds blown with a KING’S dinner of succulent Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding, a medley of vegetables covered wif sum GORGEOUS traditional gravy.  Musical highlights from Britain’s best were sung by Canada’s premier party band The Carpet Frogs and the dance floor was never empty! An amazing silent auction which moved onto a BRILLIANT live auction emceed by our special guest Q107’s Ryan Parker, made for a riveting and entertaining night. 
Everyone's contribution has brought Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel one step closer to their visions, "Every child who needs a mentor has a mentor."

2009 Highlights
The 2009 Big Brothers Big Sister sof peel Taste of Canada Gala was held on October 16th and was a huge success! The night's festivities included various Canadian food stations, the musical stylings of the Meteors featuring 8 year old Rory McDonald, DecaDance and Average Joe Karaoke. Personalized tarot readings, exciting prize draws and a live auction only added to the entertainment.
