Listed below are some of the corporate volunteer and funding opportunities associated with our agency.
Program Participation Opportunities (Interacting directly with our children and youth) Group Mentoring Get a first hand look at the Big Brother Big Sister relationship in action. Working with our agency staff, companies coordinate an interactive activity for our children incorporating at least one of the four elements of recreation, education, community or diversity. Our trained volunteer mentors transport and supervise their mentees at this fun activity while your staff coordinates the festivities. Typically companies will host a maximum of one or two events per annum as activity nights happen in the evening and on weekends. In-School Mentoring In-School Mentoring is a great program for companies interested in empowering or re-energizing staff members. Once screened and properly trained, a staff member mentors a child for one hour a week during the school year. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel has programs in over 72 schools across Peel Region ensuring that there is a school close to your office.
