The Big Bunch Program builds connections and offers service to the new children coming into our mentoring programs. This program provides regular outings and exposure to the wider community for children/youth who are waiting to be matched in our Group Mentoring and One-to-One Mentoring Programs. The volunteers are all positive role models and caring adults who have been screened and trained by our agency.
Big Bunch activities are planned and coordinated by an Agency caseworker. Activities include: gym nights, craft nights, laser quest, cooking classes, soap box derby and events hosted by our corporate partners such as the Peel Regional Police and Amgen Canada. Volunteers and families register for at least one outing per month. Access to a vehicle is recommended as you will be picking up children and returning them to their homes.
