Conversation Club

The Conversation Club is our newest mentoring program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and offered in partnership with the Centre for Education and Training. This program introduces new Canadian youth 12-18 to a volunteer mentor 16-24. The new Canadian youth and the mentor meet in a group setting for one hour each week, spending their time addressing homework concerns, practicing English conversation and presentation skills, learning about Canada and sharing experiences and common interests.

This program runs for 12 weeks and is facilitated and supervised by our Conversation Club Caseworker. Volunteers must be 16-24 and make a minimum 12 week/1 session commitment.

If you are a new Canadian youth interested in joining the program please click HERE to download an application form.
